Driving this Touareg makes you understand why gasoline has been reduced in this class for so many years. While the V6 is quiet and smooth, and has a reasonable range, your eyes are still drawn to the fuel economy figures directly on the digital instrument monitor. When you drive around the city and on a shorter trip, you will have trouble getting that number from some teenagers.
